Winter Welcome Table

Each year, from November through March, members of our parish community take part in the Winter Welcome Table Ministry in partnership with St. Peter's Church.

Every Monday evening, volunteers help serve a warm, nourishing meal to 70–100 guests. The Winter Welcome Table offers hospitality and a hot dinner to individuals and families who may be facing financial challenges, marginalization, or homelessness. It is a simple but powerful way we live out our call to serve one another with dignity and compassion.

Our parish prepares and cooks four of these meals each season, with different ministries taking the lead. In recent years, the CWL, the 10:00 Choir, and Development & Peace members have generously shared their time and talents in the kitchen.

From chopping vegetables for hearty soup to preparing meatloaf, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, and dessert, our volunteers work side by side to create meals made with care. (See attached photos of our Development & Peace members in action!)

The Winter Welcome Table is more than a meal. It is fellowship, compassion, and solidarity in action. We are grateful to all who participate in this meaningful ministry and help make our parish a welcoming presence in the wider community.
